The Triad show at the Mutineer went really well! The band was tighter than our performance at Cafe 27, and we got a good reaction as well. We'll be retuning there on May 30, I'm posting the date on the Upcoming Gigs page too. I brought out my "Rig Of Doom" setup for the second time, and it would appear that the bugs that I had in November with the setup were for the most part gone, which is a good thing. We tried a couple different songs, and stretched out a couple other songs as well. There was even a lengthy "jam" that we did that went so good that people were dancing to it! Another cool thing that happened was the old singer for Southern Drawl, Matt, came out with his family to the show last night. Haven't seen him in a few years, was nice to see him again. His mom took a couple pics and I have them below here.
Next up for me is the usual Hoolies open mic gig, and then another busy weekend for me. On Saturday, I'll be sitting in with Stalking Mildred at Little Hoolies from 10-2, and then Sunday Dirk Diggler is back in action at Cafe 27 from 1-5 celebrating our guitarist Greg's birthday. From what I'm hearing, Sunday is gonna be awesome...
That is all...TB
