Got several songs composed for the band at the "day job," and they will get premiered/reintroduced in May, so I'm looking forward to that.
The private party that Triad did was really fun, and there are some clips up at the Triad Facebook page (Facebook.com/TriadBandMiami) as well as my FB profile if ya wanna see what we sound like. Can't wait to have that band playing out regularly! Finally getting the "rig of doom" dialed in to where I want it, as well as the new synth iPad/pedal combo that i'm using, so I'm happy about that. I have a couple of original ideas that I'm going to send to the guys in the next few days, and maybe try to get some original stuff going on with the band too.
Been busy in the studio here here too in the last few weeks. Started going through the batch of riffs and semi arranged song fragments, and I've got 11 songs that have arrangements, as well as drum and bass tracks done. There are 2 song ideas that I have to do drum tracks to, but I think I will get the 11 finished first as far as instrumental parts and then go back and catch those 2 songs up from there. We'll see, I could decide to drag my electronic drum kit out this week and get the recording done as well...who knows lol!! I'll post some more updates on this group of song's progress as I'm going in the next few days. I plan on starting to put rhythm guitars down for some of the songs this week, depending on how my schedule goes with the "day job." I think I may be able to, as I have a lot of the work that I would normally be finishing up at this time already taken care of, so I'm pretty optimistic that I can get some progress on these songs and maybe have some new music to post by the time the "day job" goes on summer break. My summer could be hectic, so I would like to have these songs done before any craziness starts up, so wish me luck!
That is all...TB
