October is winding down, and I have to say it's been kind of a slow month in the performing department. I will be playing at Little Hoolies the next couple Thursdays, including Halloween, which should be a fun night. November is looking like a fun time, as there are already 3 Eli Cash shows on the calendar. On the 2nd, we'll be at The Mutineer, then on the 9th we return to Black Point, and then on the 16th we will be making our debut at Shakeys in Homestead. I've played there once helping out the guys in 3RG, and it's a pretty cool place to play at. It's also a family friendly venue as well. Hopefully we'll have some more shows to announce here very soon as well. On the Dirk Diggler front, We played the last 2 open mics at Hoolies, even though I had to miss the first one. My buddy Rich filled in for me and from what I heard he did a great job. I was back with them last week. At the moment, there aren't any gigs coming up just yet, but I'm pretty sure that that will change pretty soon.
As far as writing, I've been on a little bit of a roll with my project with my friend Tom in the last week or so. I have 3 songs already mostly finished, one of them already have a draft of lyrics, even though I have to work on them a little bit. The other 2 are coming along nicely too. It has been fun to revisit that project, seeing that it's been about 9 years since I've worked with Tom. The project with Mike and Rich is going slow, and I may have some news there soon as well. Other than that, my "day job" has been taking up a pretty good chunk of my time, as you can
