Been pretty busy last couple months. My day job has been kinda crazy this year, actually in an "uncharted waters" kind of situation, which is a challenge so far. I think I'll make it work,so no worries there. If you've been following the gig calendar, you've seen that DD has been pretty busy with shows, and we have 2 coming up in December on the 17th at Cafe 27 and the 23rd at Little Hoolies. Those will be the last DD shows of 2017, and we will be hitting it just as hard in 2018, in fact we will be back in action after the holidays on January 11 at Cafe 27. I'm going to be spending part of the holidays up in Illinois with my parents, hopefully getting to also see some friends and family I haven't seen in a while too. I'll also have some manuscript paper with me as well, so I know I'll be writing!
As far as 2018 goes, Diggler will be chugging along, and Triad will be returning to the live scene as well. I'm also going to be doing some acoustic shows around town too when I can. I already have one lined up for January 12 at Pub 935 in Homestead. It will be a fun night of me playing some covers that I don't play with in the bands, as well as a nice big batch of my original songs as well. The last "album" project I did this last summer was an acoustic project, and that really lit the fire under me to try to play some shows where people can hear these songs.
Also along those lines of getting more people to hear my music, my major project for 2018 is to finally get my music up on iTunes and places that people can buy it. For years I've been a little too slow on finally settling down and pushing these songs, but I've been at that point, especially with this last bunch of songs that I did, thet I think it's just TIME to get this music exposed to a wider audience. I'll let you know when it finally happens!
That is all..TB
